1) Brian Daboll, Buffalo Bills

Let’s start with an offensive coordinator who’s spent the last three years building an offense around his quarterback’s strengths. Brian Daboll may not be talked about as one of the best offensive minds in the NFL but he’s spent the last three years turning Josh Allen into a legitimate franchise quarterback.

When the Bills drafted Allen with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, many were under the impression that Allen wouldn’t be successful in the NFL. Instead, Dabboll built an offense around Allen’s strengths, some of which include mobility and a strong arm.

In today’s NFL, teams are building around their young quarterback more than ever. Should the Bears hire Daboll and then end up drafting a quarterback in the first-round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he’d continue that trend.

Besides his ability to build a system around a quarterback, Daboll brings championship experience to the roster. He’s won a national championship while at the University of Alabama and then won five Super Bowls as a coach with the New England Patriots.

Overall, Daboll should be high on the Bears list. Is he the flashiest name on the market? Certainly not. However, everything he’s done in the past suggests that he’ll bring a winning mindset to Chicago to get the Bears back to relevance.
