Who are five head coaching candidates to consider for the Chicago Bears?

With the Chicago Bears currently on a six-game losing streak, it’s likely that the fate of Head Coach Matt Nagy is sealed. At this point, it appears as if the Bears are just waiting until the end of the season to pull the trigger on firing Nagy.

The question now isn’t should the Bears fire Nagy. The question now is when will they fire him? Another question worth asking is, who should replace him? Should it be someone from the college ranks? Or someone from the NFL that’s had experience being an offensive coordinator and a quarterbacks coach?

With the way that the NFL continues to trend, the demand for offensive minded head coaches is higher than ever. Sure the Bears hired one in Nagy three years ago and it hasn’t worked out, however, the entire offense needs some new life injected into them one way or another.

Here’s the deal: The following list is composed of five intriguing offensive minded head coaches that the Bears need to consider hiring once the 2021 offseason rolls around. But before you go on, just know that you won’t find Eric Beiniemy on this list. He’s too hot of a commodity for the Bears to potentially hire him.

You will, however, find some names that have been hot commodities around the NFL for the last year or so, as well as some intriguing up-and-comers that could interest the Bears. There’s also a name on this list that’s had extensive experience working with Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, so stay tuned to find out who it is.
