Bears: Three reasons to fire Nagy and Pace together
Fixing the issues
All of the factors listed above have led to very poor production. They don’t win more than they lose anymore with this duo running the team and the arrow is pointing down. All of the biggest difference-makers on the team aren’t getting any younger which makes things worse. They are 5-6 right now after getting embarrassed by the Green Bay Packers on national television. This city deserves better and they aren’t getting it right now.
The defense has gone to waste because of the poor offense. They need an offensive line and a new quarterback before they do anything. We know that the defense has some studs that might be worth hanging onto but they also might want to think about trading some of the veterans while their value is still high.
To be honest, neither Nagy nor Pace deserves to be a part of the solution. They tried to be a solution before the 2020 season started and they got us Nick Foles and Robert Quinn who have been awful on all fronts. The Bears need another overhaul to the front office otherwise they will be anywhere from mediocre to bad again next season.
They need to bring in someone who will help them shape the offense. We are learning by watching other teams across the league that you need defense still but it shouldn’t be the main focus. You need to be able to score points in today’s NFL and the Bears can’t do that. They need a new person to come in and build an offensive line and get a new quarterback. Nagy and Pace should not be involved whatsoever if they are going to be fired later anyway. The time to clean house is now.
