Mitch Trubisky

The Chicago Bears missed big time on Mitchell Trubisky. Both Nagy and Pace deserve to be critiqued for the way things turned out with Trubisky. For one, Ryan Pace drafted him. Not only did he draft him, but he also traded other picks to move up one spot to get him. They also left Patrick Mahomes on the board for someone else and he is on track to become one of the five greatest quarterbacks who ever lived. They even left Deshaun Watson there and he is a top-five quarterback right now.

This is a firable offense for Pace and it always has been. The level of play between the three quarterbacks in college wasn’t much different but the other two had a much better sample size against better competition. It has turned out to be a disaster and now it is something that Bears fans have to deal with for a long time.

Well, Matt Nagy is one of the main reasons that the Kansas City Chiefs selected Patrick Mahomes. He went to Andy Reid and claimed that he thought he was a generational talent when nobody else saw it. Then, he was right. He just wasn’t there to be a part of it because he took the job with the Chicago Bears.

Matt Nagy came in and was supposed to be this big quarterback guru. Well, he wasn’t able to help Mitch Trubisky take that next step. It has been tough to move the ball of offense and Nagy deserves blame for it. It isn’t working and isn’t going to work so the quarterback is the big reason to let them go.
