Washington Nationals

The Washington Nationals were awesome in 2019. They had a horrid start and climbed all the way back in it to be in the Wild Card Game. They won that game and found themselves on a run to the World Series where they won it for the first time in franchise history. It was a great end to a strange season for them but 2020 wasn’t as kind. They suffered some losses in free agency and that led to the season not going their way.

Despite being one of the big disappointments of the MLB this year, they have some great players still there in their core. Juan Soto, Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg, and Trea Turner are all also still awesome. That team just might need one more great player to help them get back to that level and Bryant might be a perfect fit.

They no longer have Anthony Rendon playing third base. He is still one of the best players in all of baseball but he took his talents to the Los Angeles Angels in free agency last winter. Bryant would be a great fit to be their new third baseman. They will also no longer have Adam Eaton playing in the outfield and could use Bryant there on certain days as well. This team just feels like a great fit to get a deal done as most of their top prospects are pitchers which is what the Cubs need.
