Los Angeles Dodgers

The Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers have had some intense playoff battles over the past decade. Each team has been incredible to watch since the 2015 season and each has a championship to show for it. As the defending champions in Los Angeles, they are going to be looking to defend that title. If they feel that Kris Bryant is someone they want to add from the trade market, they should absolutely do so.

The Dodgers have not been shy about basically being the west coast version of the New York Yankees. They felt that they needed to add Mookie Betts to push them over the edge during the last offseason so they did. Now, they might feel that they need Kris Bryant to play third base (or anywhere else) for them and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to consider getting a deal done.

They aren’t going to have Justin Turner if he hits the open market and signs with another team. They have a few things that are uncertain going into 2021 so they fit the bill of a team that can afford to take the risk of adding Bryant for a minimum of one year. Who knows, maybe it becomes a great fit and they extend him. Despite a terrible 2020 season, he was an All-Star in 2019 and should be able to reach that level again.
