Chicago White Sox

The Chicago White Sox are going in the opposite direction from the Chicago Cubs. It seems like the Cubs are going to miss any chance at there being a Red Line World Series over the next few years. The White Sox are ready to compete for the World Series and the Cubs are looking like they might have one of the most historic rebuilds in the history of Major League Baseball.

The Chicago White Sox have Yoan Moncada playing third base who at this point is worlds better than Kris Bryant. Moncada has the potential to be a consistent superstar with his bat and is a Gold Glove level defensive third baseman. There is no way that Bryant takes over for him at that position so the need isn’t there. The need is in right-field and Bryant has been a great outfielder as well so far in his career.

The White Sox tried Nomar Mazara out there in right this season and it was a failed experiment. They are probably going for Springer as their number one choice but Bryant would be a great plan B. If they traded for him it probably wouldn’t cost that much but it might cost more than some other teams because it is the two Chicago teams. Either way, this partnership makes sense from both sides to get it done. The Cubs need pitching and the White Sox have pitching prospects to spare.
