Another President Job

Theo Epstein is a brilliant baseball mind. He put together the Boston Red Sox team that ended the “Curse of the Bambino” in 2004. Then, in 2016, the Chicago Cubs team that he put together and developed won the World Series for the first time in 108 years. Each team was in a century-long drought so they just hired Theo and he ended it.

For example, a team like the New York Mets has been considered poorly ran over the past few decades. They came close in 2015 when they beat the Cubs in the NLCS but fell just short in the World Series. Well, now they have the richest owner in all of baseball which might see some change happen in Queens. They just hired Sandy Alderson back to be their President of Baseball Operations but when Theo Epstein becomes available you go for him.

As we turned the century, the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox all had close to century-long World Series droughts. Well, all three of them have since ended and two of the three were at the hands of Theo Epstein. Any team that feels pressured to win soon should give him a call and offer him whatever he wants. He wins and that is the bottom line.
