He isn’t a big name, but Jerami Grant could be a great option for the Bulls. Grant has a player option for this season with the Denver Nuggets, but he is expected to opt-out of that deal and become an unrestricted free agent.

Watching the Nuggets in the playoffs, Grant was a guy who stood out. He was all over the court. Whether it was closing out on a shooter, hustling to the paint in order to grab a rebound or squaring up in the corner and knocking down a three, Grant was as well-rounded a player as you could ask for in the postseason. He made his case to become a highly sought-after free agents.

Still only 26 years old and a versatile defender, Grant would fit in well with this Bulls team. He’s listed at 6-foot-8 and technically a power forward, but Grant can play either forward spot as well as defend them, too.

His coming from Denver, while playing just one year, should come into consideration as he’ll know Karnisovas. Grant could even be the type of guy the Bulls decide to bring on long-term, if the price was right.

Verdict: Pursue
