Once more, the Chicago Bulls are involved in a recent rumor leading up to the 2020 NBA Draft.

Brace yourselves, Chicago Bulls fans. The 2020 NBA Draft is going to be one for the books. In such an unusual year for sports and the NBA, the Bulls have gone through many changes. But, for the first time in a very long while, fans have every right to feel excited about the future.

With the no. 4 overall pick to play with this coming Wednesday night, the Bulls should be able to add a great, young player to their already young and promising roster. However, the team could also choose to make some additional moves in what will be a shortened offseason.

A recent report has the Dallas Mavericks wanting to pair another star player with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. Already, the Mavs boast an intimidating offense with how Doncic has developed. He is widely looked at as one of the top players in all of basketball, and adding yet another strong player to his side would only make Dallas more of a favorite in the vaunted West.

That report regarding the Mavs and their desire for third star includes the Bulls’ Zach LaVine as one of the player they have their eyes on. LaVine is halfway through a nice, team-friendly contract he signed back in 2018 in which he’ll be paid $78 million over four seasons.

The Mavs would be getting a sure fire scorer in LaVine, who can knock them down from beyond the arc at a 38 percent clip and score at 44 percent from the field overall. Last year, he took his biggest step forward as a budding star in this league and proved he could be the guy Chicago could count on down the stretch.

If Dallas wanted LaVine, though, what would they have to give up? Trades have gotten more and more tricky the last year or two. Let’s try to realistically place LaVine on the Mavs with one of the following trades.
