Chicago Bears: Lawrence/Fields could make these 5 QBs available

American’s Team is in a tough way right now. They are having one of the worst seasons we have ever seen them have. Dak Prescott is a great quarterback but everyone knows about his contract situation. The Cowboys seem reluctant to pay him so you have to wonder if his time there is almost up. Well, things got even more messy when he had a horrific injury earlier in the season that will sideline him for a long time.

We don’t know if he will be back in time to start 2021 but he will make the Bears better in the long term if he came over. It would have to depend on if they are willing to pay him but it doesn’t sound like he will be in Dallas forever. If they end up drafting in the top-two of the 2021 NFL Draft, they are going to take one of Lawrence or Haskins. Both of those guys would boom into superstars playing down there in Dallas.

Prescott is a great player. The hope has to be that he will be able to get to that once he recovers from his brutal injury. He is 42-27 playing for a very mediocre Dallas Cowboys team. If he came to this Chicago Bears team and was given a little bit more help with his offensive line, this team could be a Super Bowl contender. If the Cowboys draft that high, Prescott will be out.

All of this will be subject to who lands what pick but where some of these guys go if their teams move on will be interesting to see. No matter what, the Bears should draft someone. They aren’t going to be able to get one of the two studs but other good quarterbacks will be there. All options need to be explored when you are as inept at the position as the Bears have been for 30 years.
