31. . QB. New York Giants. Daniel Jones. 8. player

Daniel Jones isn’t the best quarterback in the NFL but he would be an upgrade over Trubisky and Foles. He is probably just a slightly better version of Trubisky but that might be good enough to help this roster start winning more. He might also reach his potential that the Giants saw in him when they drafted him with the 6th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. That is not very long ago when you consider that an NFL team believed he would be a starter.

Of course, just like every other player on this list, there is a very good chance that Lawrence or Fields is going to be better. A lot of Giants fans believe they wouldn’t take one of them because they have Jones but that just isn’t true. If they have one of the top two picks, they will be moving on from Jones in the offseason. At 2-7, they are one of the bottom feeders in the NFC East division so a really high draft pick is possible.

Jones’ career record is horrible (5-16) but a lot of that can be attributed to the Giants being awful during his tenure. He is 4-0 against the Washington Football team but 1-16 against everyone else. With that said, they would be quick to let him go if someone better was available.

If Jones came to Chicago, he would get a chance again. The Giants probably over-drafted him when they took him with the sixth overall pick but he is definitely someone you can work with and coach. They are going to keep him and try to develop him if they don’t land a top-two pick but the Bears would be wise to try him out if they do. At this point, anything is worth trying for the Bears.
