Dwayne Haskins. 7. player. 58. . QB. Washington Commanders

The Washington Football Team has a lot of issues with their roster. They also have a bunch of issues with their organization in general which makes it easy to see that Dwayne Haskins might not be getting a fair shake. He certainly isn’t an all-world quarterback but he has the talent to win football games. He was taken in the first round by Washington (15th overall) in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Just a year ago, the league saw him coming out of Ohio State with the potential of a good starter in the NFL.

Early in this season, Washington benched Haskins without giving him much of a chance. Do they want one of Lawrence or Fields? Sure, they probably do. Both of those guys will be much better but Haskins might be able to put up points in the NFL on a good team. He would be running for his life with the current Bears offensive line but if they brought him in with a better line in 2021, he might look like the 15th overall pick he was drafted to be.

Washington isn’t a lock to get one of Fields or Lawrence but with a 2-6 record, they are in the mix. They play in the NFC East which has the 3-4-1 Philadelphia Eagles leading the pack. That 2-6 Washinton Football Team is in second place only because the two teams behind them are 2-7 and haven’t had their bye week yet. Anything can happen with that dumpster fire of the division. It would be cool to see the Bears to take advantage.
