The Jacksonville Jaguars, probably more than anyone in the league, needs to land one of Fields or Lawrence. They might not have the same level of ineptitude as the Jets (but they also might), but they need a spark. They don’t play for New York or have a long storied history like the Jets do. It would be really wise to find a way to land one of these top quarterbacks and start building around them.

Gardner Minshew might not sound like the best person for the Chicago Bears to go after but taking a shot on anyone better than Foles or Trubisky would be worth it. He would more than likely be a short-term plan again because they need to keep drafting quarterbacks until they get one but with their defense, it would be worth a try.

Minshew, despite the 1-6 record, isn’t having the worst year of all time. He should not be the guy the Jaguars believe in the long term but he is certainly better than Nick Foles. Jacksonville liked Minshew so much better than Foles that they shipped him off to Chicago and kept him. Now, it would be smart for the Bears to reunite Foles and Minshew if the Jaguars make him available this offseason.
