The New York Jets are an abysmal football team. They are honestly one of the worst football teams in the history of the NFL. They have a legit chance to be an 0-16 football team which is not a good look. Not winning a single game can hurt a lot of players’ confidence but that just might happen this year. They could at the very least, finish in dead last.

Coming in 32nd place would guarantee them the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. With that pick, they would surely take Trevor Lawrence. He would go there and try to finally turn around a franchise that has been awful for many years in a row. Even if they win a game, chances are that they will end up with one of Lawrence or Fields. That would also mean that they are done with their third-year quarterback, Sam Darnold.

Darnold has shown promise at times but he just hasn’t gotten it done for the Jets after being the 3rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The thing he has going for him is that he was on the Jets. They don’t succeed with anyone. He is the perfect “change of scenery” type of guy. If he came to the Bears, he would be an upgrade over Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky. Out of every team on this list, the Jets are the most likely to end up with a top-two pick in the draft.
