Chicago Bears: Lawrence/Fields could make these 5 QBs available

The Chicago Bears might benefit from a team drafting Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields.

Week 9 of the National Football League is now in the books and week 10 is upon us. The Chicago Bears are in a bad way after starting 5-1 and then losing three in a row. Now, at 5-4, they are in serious danger of missing the playoffs. It would be the second time in the last ten years that they started 5-1 and missed the playoffs. Things are bad and they might only get worse.

The defense is still one of the best in the NFL. They are tough and keep the opposition from scoring better than most units in the NFL. With studs like Khalil Mack, Eddie Jackson, Akiem Hicks, Kyle Fuller, and Roquan Smith leading the way, they have to be annoyed with how bad their offense is. It might be the worst offense that the team has ever had in its history.

Of course, there are many reasons that this offense is so bad. The offensive line is terrible so running the football isn’t a weapon and the quarterback is always under duress. Even when the quarterback is protected, be it Nick Foles or Mitchell Trubisky, they are bad at playing the position. Neither of them is good at all and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

Everyone knows that there are going to be some great quarterbacks available at the top of the 2021 NFL Draft. Trevor Lawrence of Clemson University is going to be the first QB off the board and Justin Fields of Ohio State University will be the second. There are going to be some available quarterbacks this offseason because of the fact that their team might take one of these guys in the draft. These are five guys that the Bears can try if their old teams take one of Lawrence or Fields:
