One particular draft rumor is picking up steam regarding the Chicago Bulls and LaMelo Ball.

With just seven days to go before the 2020 NBA Draft, trade talk and rumors are heating up. The Chicago Bulls, believe it or not, are one team to watch going into next Wednesday night. You might just see Arturas Karnisovas pull off a big-time transaction. Will you like it? That’s up for debate.

The great folks over at Bleacher Nation picked up on a rumor that was put out there by ESPN the other day, and it entails the Minnesota Timberwolves trying aggressively to trade out of the number one pick. That same report also had the Bulls as one of the three teams most likely to trade up for that pick.

The man these three teams covet? It’s point guard LaMelo Ball.

There aren’t too many players with a potentially high ceiling in this draft class, but Ball is looked at widely as one of the few. Whether or not you agree that he’s worth the first overall pick, one thing is for certain: He’s got some of the best potential out of any of the top prospects.

That might not be saying much, but who knows what some of these top kids could turn into under the right coach — like Billy Donovan.

So, what would a potential trade look like for the Bulls in order to land the no. 1 pick in this year’s draft? It’s tough to say, because normally the number one pick would cost quite a bit. This year, most now know that the Wolves want out of that position. So, out of the three rumored teams (Detroit and Oklahoma City as well), it’s up to the highest potential bidder.

That is a little scary, assuming the other two teams really want this pick. Regardless, the following are potential deals which could land the Bulls that coveted top selection.
