Many Chicago Bears fans want to see the team make a positive trade before the deadline, but they’re not the only team among the rumors.

After a Sunday afternoon heartbreak, it’s back to work for the Chicago Bears. A very winnable game was lost in overtime to the New Orleans Saints, as the offense actually put 23 points on the board.

Still, it wasn’t enough. Nick Foles and the offense sputtered in the extra period on their final drive, ending their time on the field with two drops and a sack. With the ball back in their hands, the Saints drove down and nailed the game-winning chip shot.

Now, Chicago sits at 5-3 with many questions to be answered. From the top-down, the Bears have questions marks. While play-calling was noticeably better against the Saints, Matt Nagy still had his moments that made fans scratch their heads. Sure, the ball moved, but not as much as they’d like.

The interesting thing about the 2020 season is that each conference will allow one additional playoff team, giving them seven each. The Bears are still in position to make the postseason, but competing for the NFC North title will also be a tall task, all things considered.

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers took one on the chin to the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, but still lead the division. Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions are 3-4 and no where near out of the playoff conversation.

Should one or two NFC North teams make another move, the Bears will be in for an even bigger test down the line. The following three deals are ones which would make Bears fans sick, yet they are not out of the realm of possibilities.
