4. Alex Mack, Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons won’t be competing any time soon, thus a fire sale might be coming — or at least a mini fire sale. They won’t be moving a name like Calvin Ridley, but just about any other name could be up for grabs at the right price. One name the Bears should inquire about is center Alex Mack.

Once upon a time, Mack signed what would end up being a fairly team-friendly deal for $45 million over five years. Now, he’s in the last year of that contract and would be an excellent trade target for the Bears.

Mack is obviously a Pro Bowl center, but with Cody Whitehair being able to play guard as well, adding him would be a no-brainer. Being able to get a top-tier offensive lineman on the last year of a reasonable contract would likely cost no more than a fifth round pick, especially considering Atlanta is going no where this year.
