The number one problem with the Chicago Bears can be addressed via trade.

After Monday night’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams, these Chicago Bears showed the world they have far more problems than they do strengths at the moment. They may still be 5-1, but the Bears have some glaring issues they need to address if a serious playoff push is to happen this year.

One of the most alarming stats for Chicago this season has been the time for Nick Foles to throw. At the moment, he has the fourth-least amount of time before he must get rid of the football (time to throw from snap to pass).

Many fans have wondered how Foles could miss a guy like Darnell Mooney deep down the field on Monday night, when in reality, Mooney hadn’t even gotten halfway through his route on a stop-and-go. Had Foles been given just another half second, it likely would have been a big gain, or even a touchdown.

The same goes for the Bears’ lack of a run game. There is no where to run. Blocking is non-existent within this group. Losing James Daniels to a season-ending injury a couple of weeks ago has hurt this team in a big way. Now, Cody Whitehair appears banged up after Monday night’s loss. The positive there, though, is that Matt Nagy thinks Whitehair should be fine.

While play-calling is another sensitive topic for the Bears, the offensive line is something that may be equally as crucial to fix right now. With the NFL trade deadline coming up on November 3, there will be many teams the Bears could call about offensive line help. By now, we know who the sellers should be at the deadline.

But, which names should the Bears go after? There are four specific linemen Ryan Pace should be targeting before next week’s deadline.
