Chicago Bears: Three reasons to consider Le’Veon Bell
The Bears are 4-1
Winning football games in the National Football League is hard. The Chicago Bears are 4-1 and that is nothing to be ashamed about. They had some ugly wins and a few plays going differently could have them at 1-4 or 0-5 but the fact of the matter is that they are 4-1. When you look around the NFC, it’s not like that many other teams are more impressive anyway. The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers feel like they are a cut above the rest but the Bears are right near the top.
If they haven’t played their best football yet, they have a good record to build on. While their offense continues to figure it out, they need to try and continue winning football games in the meantime. Adding a guy like Le’Veon Bell would go a long way in doing both of those things. He can help them win and get their offense in order.
Windows don’t stay open for long in the National Football League. There are performance issues, injuries, and now even COVID-19 that can change anything for any team. The Bears have a chance here to make their already decent team better by adding someone who has the potential to be all world.
Now, all of these things are strongly dependent on Bell playing well if he were to come here. He wasn’t exactly what the Jets wanted but whoever is anyway. If he came to a real team with a chance to win, things might resemble the way they used to be for him.
