2. Forward Danilo Gallinari

Speaking of guys who could push Porter to the bench or out of town, Danilo Gallinari would be a heck of a signing. Even at age 31, Gallinari proved he was still a force for the Thunder this season. He would fit in well with the young core of the Bulls.

This youthful roster is one who could look to run under Donovan, and Gallinari can still do that at a high level. He still shoots the ball at an elite clip from the outside, knocking down over 40 percent of his threes this past season.

Gallinari may have only spent one season with Donovan, but he was such an instrumental part of their playoff run that it’s hard to ignore how valuable he was to a team like the Thunder. Remember, this Thunder team had no business making the playoffs.

Some outlets gave Oklahoma City right around a one percent change of making the playoffs in 2019-2020, and Gallinari was a huge reason why they were able to buck the odds.

Unlike Roberson, Gallinari isn’t the best defender, but he’s not terrible either. I think he brings a lot to the table in terms of helping the development of Lauri Markkanen, too. As a guy who has played the wing and power forward at 6-foot-10, he shares similar traits as Markkanen. Gallinari not only shoots well from the outside, but he can also attack the hoop — something Markkanen needs to get back to.
