Trubisky Failing To Jumpstart The Offense Early

If Mitchell Trubisky comes out early and can’t put up points, the Bears could be in for a long game. To give him the benefit of the Week 1 offense struggles, they had a lot of new moving pieces between players and coaches and didn’t have a preseason to work on them. Hopefully, the struggles were due to no preseason.

For the Bears to be successful, they have to continue to run the ball well, along with Trubisky making the big throws he made Week 1. In that second half, Trubisky made some amazing throws. He also missed a few questionable throws. That questionability comes down to no preseason, right now.

The confidence of Trubisky will dictate how well this team plays. Against the Giants last season, Trubisky used his arm and legs to make plays. If Matt Nagy is smart, they bring in some designed run plays with Trubisky, along with RPOs, option plays, and swing passes. They have to get everyone going as soon as possible, as this team does have a lot of weapons.

For this team to win, the offense has to hit on all cylinders. They cannot wait until the fourth quarter to score their first touchdown. It has to come in the first quarter, not the fourth.
