1. Mitchell Trubisky

Whether you support Trubisky or you’re still calling for Nick Foles to start, be honest with yourself: Trubisky is one of the many reasons that the Bears left Detroit with a win. In fact, you could also argue that he is the main reason.

Trubisky may have had a first-half that had some people calling for Foles to start, however, the former second-overall pick continued to be resilient and kept his head in the game. As mentioned in the opening slide, he’d toss three touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the most impressive one being a dime to wide receiver Anthony Miller that would give the Bears the lead.

Besides just impacting the game through the air, he also had three carries for 26 rushing yards, averaging 8.7 yards per attempt. This, however, is nothing new. Trubisky has shown that he can be a dual-threat quarterback when he’s playing his best football.

As the page now turns to week two and the Bears host the New York Giants at home, the question that Trubisky will need to answer is simple: Can he be consistent and do it again? Can he replicate his performance against the New York Giants and continue to prove that he can still be the franchise quarterback for the Bears?  After an impressive week one, it’s now up to to Trubisky to answer the questions listed above.
