The Chicago Blackhawks really need to fire their general manager, Stan Bowman.

The Chicago Blackhawks are not the best hockey team. In fact, they came in dead last in the NHL’s central division. They were invited to the bubble as the last team in the Western Conference. They even managed to somehow defeat the number five seeded Edmonton Oilers in the play-in round. That was all fine and dandy until they were humbled by the Vegas Golden Knights in the first round of the playoffs. Chicago wouldn’t have even been in the playoffs if it weren’t for COVID-19 and you saw why.

Stan Bowman has been very bad at his job for a long time now. It is because of him that this team is where it is today. Nobody is saying that they would still be a Stanley Cup contender or anything but they certainly wouldn’t be in last place year after year if it weren’t for him. There have been some drastic mistakes made by Bowman that have led to them falling away from being a league power.

There is enough left in the tank of their star players with a bunch of young players around them. It is possible they have one more run in them. In order for that to happen, however, Stan Bowman needs to be let go for these three reasons:
