Trade One

Let’s be honest, the Chicago Bears have been pretty bad at drafting in the first and second rounds in the Ryan Pace era. They have a lot of issues in that front office but this year is a chance to redeem themselves. If they aren’t good in 2020, everybody is going to be gone and they are going to start all over. That is why giving up a second-round pick for Kamara would be a good price to pay for the Bears.

Kamara is one of the best running backs in the NFL. The only reason this isn’t a straight-up first-round pick is that he isn’t at camp because he wants to be a very highly paid running back. If the Saints aren’t willing to pay him, the Bears should be. The Saints are going to be good either way but the Bears need as much help as they can get.

Kamara would make the Bears a better team right away; way more than anyone Pace drafts in the second round next year. Well, that is if he is even there at all in 2021. If they don’t win this year, he won’t be there to use the pick at all. All Bears fans would be wise to push for this team to spend a second-round pick on a guy who would really help them move the ball on offense.
