Trade No. 3
Finally, we get back to another blockbuster type deal which would help both teams immensely. Going back to the Carmelo signing, that really was a huge boost for the Blazers. Offensively, he brought so much more to the table than a lot of people had originally thought.
If Carmelo was brought back and the team traded for more forward depth, only focusing on a defensive-minded type of player, they could go a bit further in the playoffs with a healthy Damian Lillard.
In this deal, the Blazers not only get forward depth with Thaddeus Young, but an instant McCollum replacement in LaVine. Trading LaVine has always been a rumor here and there, and Bulls fans are split on that idea. He’s been a bright spot for Chicago. But, adding McCollum means adding a similar player who can pour in 40-plus points at the drop of a hat.

The fact that McCollum has had so many big games even while playing next to Lillard says a lot. Sharing a back court with Coby White would be a blast to watch, and keeping that no. 4 pick this year would allow the Bulls to potentially add another forward to replace Young.
