Chicago Bulls Draft: Top 3 realistic options at no. 4 pick
By Ryan Heckman
2. Forward Obi Toppin, Dayton
The second guy the Bulls could target is one of the more electric names in this year’s class, Obi Toppin out of Dayton. Last season, he posted 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals per game.

Toppin shot a ridiculous percentage from two (70 percent) and a blistering 39 percent from three-point range. He can space the floor, offensively, and is phenomenal on the run. If the Bulls want to get things going and run a little more, Toppin is an ideal fit at the four spot.
Physically, experts compare him to NBA players like Kyle Kuzma, John Collins and Aaron Gordon. His wingspan is just about 7-feet and his 6-foot-9 athletic frame can flat out soar. But, he has some areas of severe concern.
First of all, Toppin did finish his collegiate career with 131 turnovers versus 128 assists. He isn’t much of a creator and doesn’t have the best ball-handling skills, so the offense needs to kind of flow to him and not through him.
Secondly, Toppin is atrocious on the defensive side of the ball. Unlike Okoro, Toppin is strictly and offensive juggernaut and would have serious work to do on the defensive end. He is still looked at as a top-5 pick by many, so the Bulls selecting him would be no surprise.
