The Vegas Golden Knights have the best goaltending tandem in the National Hockey League. They have two guys who would be elite number ones on any other team as Marc-Andre Fleury and Robin Lehner are both there and ready to make an impact. We don’t know exactly who is going to start whoever does will probably have a short leash knowing that there is someone very capable sitting there waiting for an opportunity.

Peter DeBoer is their head coach and he has a pretty tough decision to make when deciding who will start game one. Take it for what it’s worth but Robin Lehner starter two out of the three round-robin games that the Golden Knights played in. He went 2-0 in those games but Marc-Andre Fleury did go 1-0 in his one chance.

Of course, Lehner was traded to the Golden Knights at the trade deadline by the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blackhawks did it not knowing that they would have a chance at the playoffs in a return to play tournament following a global pandemic but here we are. Lehner gets to face his previous team and that should be pretty exciting for him and his former teammates. He was a great Blackhawk but now you can expect him to try and win a Cup with his new team.

Hot. Three Golden Knights for Chicago to look at in free agency. light

All of these players mentioned on the Vegas side of things are great. It is no wonder why they won the round-robin and the top seed in the playoffs. This is a team that is so deep and built for Stanley Cup success. The Blackhawks need their stars to shut down their stars and put up numbers of their own. This is an incredible test and should be a lot of fun to watch.
