Trade One

The Chicago Cubs need help in the bullpen really bad. It has almost cost them a lot of games and their record could easily be much worse than it currently is. They look like one of the elite teams in the league sitting atop of the NL Central right now but they could easily be much worse if their lineup and starting pitching weren’t good. In fact, their starting rotation has been one of the best in the league so they need some bullpen help to make sure they can still take advantage.

Evan Marshall has been great for the White Sox over the past year. He would be a great addition for the Cubs to add right now. The White Sox have had great success with Quintana in the past so maybe they would be willing to send a good reliever to the other side of town in order to add another Major League arm.

If Marshall came to the Cubs right now, he would instantly be their best reliever upon his arrival. He could be the guy that comes in when they need three outs (or more) when they have a significant lead in the ballgame. The White Sox might be hesitant to move a guy like Marshall but making the playoffs should be really important to them this year and adding another quality starter would help that cause.
