The NFC North is the most wide-open that’s it’s been in recent years. Much like any other offseason, moves were made with the hopes that any franchise can rise to the top. However, for the Bears, a wide-open division means they’ve got a chance to really put their foot down and separate themselves from the pack.

Easily, Chicago has the best defense. With a healthy Akiem Hicks expected to form a dominant pass rush trio alongside Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn, the hope is that the Bears can once again lead the NFL in sacks and takeaways.

On offense, they’ve got one of the more underrated wide receivers in the NFL in Allen Robinson, and then hopeful breakout candidates in running back David Montgomery and wide receiver Anthony Miller.
