Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars are one of the most interesting teams in the league to try and understand. They are always loaded with talent but always seem to disappoint when the stakes are the highest. Well, last season they put up a really good fight in the playoffs before eventually falling and they were really good once again this year. It was tough for them out of the gate but they found their stride and played the game we know they can.

The Stars definitely have some star players that can make an impact. As you might expect, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn were their leading scorers. They didn’t put up the totals that we are used to seeing from them but they were impactful players anyway. They also had their young stud defenseman named Miro Heiskanen be their third-leading scorer which is awesome. Ben Bishop is one of the best goalies in the league for the Stars as well. This is a tough group to defeat.

The Hawks and Stars had a home and home series in late November where each team won the game in their own barn. Later in February, Dallas won their third matchup back in Dallas. We didn’t know that they would only get the three games but the Stars did take two of the three. If these two teams met in the playoffs, it would be really hard to have any predictions on the series.
