3. MLB Keandre Jones

Another middle linebacker who is worth watching, Keandre Jones also put up ridiculous numbers while in college. After splitting time between Ohio State and Maryland, Jones ended his senior season at Maryland with 14.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

These stats may not jump off the page but they do tell us one thing: Jones can be a good situational player for the Bears. With his skillset, he’ll be used mostly on third downs and much like his teammate Rashad Smith, he’s worth stashing away on the practice squad in order to see if he can develop into something.

Jones faces an uphill climb to make the final roster. Ahead of him are players like Devante Bond, who have some NFL experience. The point here is this: Jones has an opportunity in front of him. However, can he take advantage and prove that he belongs in the NFL? That’s something that needs to be determined.
