Elite Tier

Patrick Mahomes

There isn’t much to say about Patrick Mahomes that hasn’t already been said. We know the 24-year-old reigning Super Bowl champion and league MVP was taken a few picks later than Trubisky back in 2017. We know he’s the best quarterback in football at this very second. The half-billion dollar man needs no further explaining.

Russell Wilson

An easy argument could be made for the guy who was once too small to play the quarterback position to be atop the list. Russell Wilson is a surefire Hall of Fame inductee — first ballot, too. There is nothing this guy can’t do.

Lamar Jackson

Not only was Lamar Jackson a top-10 rusher in the league last year, but he threw 36 passing touchdowns — 10 more than Mahomes did in 2019. Anyone who questions whether Jackson is a top-5 quarterback at this moment needs to turn on the tape again.

Tom Brady

Until he hits a wall like Peyton Manning once did, Tom Brady will continue to be elite. He continues to stay in excellent shape and figure out ways to execute an offense despite being over the 40-year mark. He’s truly the greatest we’ve ever seen.

Aaron Rodgers

A lot like Brady, Aaron Rodgers will belong in this tier until he retires. He’s simply too smart and too crafty, even at his age. As much as Bears fans hate to admit it, Rodgers is elite.
