Chicago Bears: 3 things Nick Foles has that Trubisky doesn’t
By Ryan Heckman
2. Playoff experience

Meanwhile, Foles is a guy who has been to the playoffs three separate times for a total of six games.
In those six games, Foles has completed 68.1 percent of his passes for 1,633 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions. During his Super Bowl run back in 2018, Foles averaged a whopping 323 passing yards per game
This is a quarterback who has been around some talented playoff teams, and the Bears are no different. Chicago has a defense that should be better than any defense Foles has been paired with over his entire career. That’s a difference-maker.
There is something to be said about having a quarterback leading your team who has been there before. If the Bears are fortunate enough to make it into the postseason, Foles knows what that pressure is like. He’s played through it. He’s thrived in it.
As for Trubisky, we still aren’t sure if he’ll ever be able to hit his stride, and in the playoffs nonetheless.
