Trade Two

The Minnesota Vikings are very thin at the wide receiver position right now. They might see this Dalvin Cook situation as a reason to go grab another one for Kirk Cousins to throw to. That might be why Riley Ridley and a future third-round pick would be a great addition for the Vikings and a good price for the Bears to get Cook.

Ridley isn’t going to be one of the top options for one of Mitchell Trubisky or Nick Foles but he might find himself in a much better situation if they send him to another team. A team as thin at the position as the Minnesota Vikings are might be the perfect fit for him. He would be able to go there and have a chance to impress the team and possibly develop into one of Kirk Cousins’ go-to guys.

The Vikings are a team that could probably do something much better with the third-round pick than the Bears can anyway. It seems like a knock on the organization we cheer for but it is what it is. Getting an elite player like Cook to come to their offense would totally be worth the depth wide receiver and a mid-round draft pick.
