Chicago Bulls: 5 Superstar free agents that would guarantee the playoffs in 2021-22
If Giannis Antetokounmpo becomes available, the Chicago Bulls must sign him
Could you imagine if a 26-year-old phenom became available in free agency at the perfect time for the Chicago Bulls to lock him up for years to come? The team missed out on this exact same scenario in 2010 when the Bulls tried to sway LeBron James and Dwyane Wade to play in the Windy City. The new front office cannot let this happen again.

This time, the superstar would be young power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2021 unless the Milwaukee Bucks can sign him to an extension. This is obviously a possibility and would crush the Chicago Bulls’ dreams of going from a rebuilding team to a dominant team in the East.
Antetokounmpo is coming off an MVP season. He averaged career-highs in points, rebounds and assists. He shot 57.8 percent from the field. With an average of 27.7 points and 12.5 rebounds per game, Antetokounmpo averaged a double-double every game.
Many fans seem to love Lauri Markkenen, but no one should want Markkenen over Antetokounmpo. The Bulls could shop Markkenen if he rebounds a bit this season or hold onto him and find a way to give him minutes. Either way, he becomes expendable when it comes to signing Antetokounmpo.
