The Chicago Bulls are destined for a period of change under Arturas Karnisovas.

Over the last couple of months, the Chicago Bulls have shown signs of what is to come for the organization. Since the NBA went on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the front office has gone through a major shift.

Now that Arturas Karnisovas is in charge, the Bulls are ready to embrace change. For the first time in nearly two decades, someone new will be making the important basketball decisions. For the first time in far too long, John Paxson and Gar Forman will no longer be holding this franchise back.

I have no doubt Karnisovas is going to come in and make moves, but when will those moves take place? This offseason or next? As a fan of a team who will not be participating in the conclusion of the 2019-2020 season, I hope those moves begin sooner rather than later.

It has been a rough few months for the sports world, although looking at the grand scheme of things, bringing the Bulls back to play eight meaningless regular season games doesn’t make much sense. Now, it’s all about looking forward to the offseason. Fans deserve something to talk about and look towards.

The previous regime made some moves that put the team in a tough place going into this upcoming free agency, but by next year, things could be looking far different. I wouldn’t be surprised if just a handful of players on this current roster are here in two seasons.

But, who are those players? Which players deserve to be viewed as franchise building blocks? I see four guys which should be kept around, no matter what.
