2. Our own team hits us where it hurts

Working at a place like FanSided, especially with the people here, is an incredible experience. I love what I do. I love the people I do it with.

But, sometimes, they just have to go there with us Bears fans.

Come on guys, we get it by now. All of us would much rather have seen the Bears draft Patrick Mahomes. Can you imagine Mahomes backed by this defense? It would be a dream.

But, yes, instead we get Mitchell Trubisky who, in all likelihood, won’t even be in the NFL half as long as Mahomes will be.

The 2017 NFL Draft is a draft that will go down in infamy for Chicago. No fan will ever be able to escape it, just like we’ll never be able to escape those interceptions thrown by Rex Grossman against the Indianapolis Colts back in Super Bowl XLI.

I love my people here dearly, and this is no where near the disrespect handed out by other major outlets. This was merely a joke — a funny joke, I’ll admit. But, can us Bears fans at least go through these crazy times without such hurtful jabs?
