At last, the Bulls in this scenario would be able to make up for a past mistake by bringing Spencer Dinwiddie back.

(Remember before the Eversley hiring how Dinwiddie was playing GM?):

This is a pretty decent trade for the Bulls while being just okay for the 76ers and Nets. Porter fills the hole left by Josh Richardson in Philidelphia and the Sixers also would nab a decently placed Bulls 2nd round pick along with veteran guard Garrett Temple from Brooklyn.

The Nets get Horford to balance the heavy contracts being moved and an unprotected first-round pick from the Bulls in the Dinwiddie/DeAndre Jordan package. That value is selling those two players a little short but I see Horford fitting in nicely with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant once they get healthy again.

The Bulls in this case would have a backcourt of Dinwiddie and LaVine with Richardson, Markkanen and Jordan as the front three. Once again, a Porter trade would bring in another forward and likely put Carter on the Bulls’ bench playing the four.

Philidelphia would likely march Ben Simmons and the emerging Mattise Thybulle out as the backcourt, while having Porter pair with Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid in the frontcourt, making their entire starting lineup almost all combo forwards.

Nothing would change much for the Nets, just swapping out Jordan for Horford and most likely taking Dinwiddie’s replacement in the draft.

This is another huge gamble trade for the Bulls, essentially betting on themselves to make a 15-win jump at the very least.
