Team Around Him

The Chicago Bears are not a bad football team. They have elite players at multiple positions. There is a reason that they had one of the worst offenses in football and arguably the worst quarterback in the NFL during the 2019 season and they still managed to go 8-8. Do you know how many teams would be thrilled with 8-8? Well, 8-8 being a massive failure says a lot about the roster.

The defense is one of, if not the best in the league. With players like Khalil Mack, Eddie Jackson, Kyle Fuller, and Akiem Hicks amongst others, it is very hard to put up massive points against the Chicago Bears. They were sunk down because the offense couldn’t score any points or even move the ball. The defense can only carry this team so far, especially when you continuously go 3 and out every drive and put them right back on the field.

Their offense might not be so bad if they added a great quarterback to the mix. There are some decent weapons there like David Montgomery, Allen Robinson, and Anthony Miller to go with a guy like Cole Kmet who hopes to have an immediate impact.

Their defense might have to take somewhat of a hit if they added a contract like Wilson’s but it would be a trade that still makes the team way better. If they had the 6th best defense instead of the first but added Russell Wilson to the mix, they are an instant Super Bowl contender again. This is a pretty good roster that could very well be a quarterback away.
