Trade Package No. 1

Before we dive into the trades, specifically, let’s look at the facts. Wilson is a 31-year-old quarterback who would be 32 years old by the time the Bears would trade for him next year. Yes, he has been a phenomenal talent and will be a surefire Hall of Fame inductee.

But, there is zero guarantee that Wilson is going to play another decade like Tom Brady has. The odds of anybody accomplishing what Brady is currently doing are slim to none. But, it very well could be done once again. Wilson has been fortunately healthy throughout his career.

Crazy fact: Wilson has played in all 16 games every year of his career dating back to his rookie season in 2012.  With that said, I think it might border a Khalil Mack type deal, and the Bears would have to give up plenty.

In the first trade scenario, the Bears give up two more draft picks in the 2021 Draft. They already gave up a fourth rounder to the Minnesota Vikings in this year’s draft, moving up to select Trevis Gipson.

The positive, here, is that the Bears keep a second rounder in the 2021 Draft and also keep their second rounder in the following year’s draft. Two firsts and a fifth is quite the haul for Seattle, but again, Wilson is an elite quarterback with strong health history. He could end up bringing multiple Super Bowls to Chicago.
