19. player. 94. . C. Chicago Blackhawks. Jonathan Toews

Jonathan Toews is rightfully in his place as one of the four best players in Chicago Blackhawks history. He was the captain of the three teams that won the Stanley Cup in 2010, 2013, and 2015. Without him, they don’t sniff any of the three titles. He is still one of the best players on the team here in 2020 which shows how good of a player he was and will continue to be for this team.

Toews, in addition to his three cups, has won the Selke Trophy, the Mark Messier Leadership Award, and the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the playoffs. In 943 regular-season games played for Chicago, he has 345 goals and 470 assists for 815 points. Plus/minus is a bum stat a lot of the time but Toews being a plus-193 in this era is very telling about his game in all three zones. Toews has a Selke Trophy as the top defensive forward because of his ability to be elite offensively and defensively. His career CorsiFor of 55.3 is ridiculously awesome.

Toews has also become a legend for his ability to elevate his game even further in the playoffs. He has his Conn Smythe Trophy from 2010 but he could have easily won it in other years as well. In 128 playoff games, he has 40 goals and 70 assists for 110 points. Toews is going to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer right when he is eligible and he should have his number 19 retired and potentially even get a statue. He is one of the best players this franchise has ever had.
