Chicago Bears 2020 Schedule: Toughest games during regular season

5. Week 10, vs. Minnesota Vikings
Another primetime game for the Bears, the Vikings may have lost some significant faces on defense but they did have a solid NFL Draft, adding pieces such as Justin Jefferson, Jeff Gladney, and Ezra Cleveland, three names that will become key contributors on the team over the next few years.
The Vikings still have Adam Thielen, Dalvin Cook, Kirk Cousins, and Kyle Rudolph, making them an intriguing matchup for the Bears defense. Considering this game is taking place in week ten, there will be talk of a potential NFC Playoff Picture.
While some would argue that the Vikings regressed this offseason, keep in mind that their offensive core led them to ten wins and a playoff appearance that saw them play in the divisional round, only to lose to the San Francisco 49ers.
The Vikings are clearly looking to go farther in the playoffs this year. They haven’t been to the NFC Championship game since the 2017 season meaning that they’re hungry. Additionally, because this is a divisional opponent of the Bears, this is a game that will carry more weight than other games on the Bears’ schedule. Win in your division and you’re likely guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.
