Chicago Bears 2020 Schedule: Toughest games during regular season
By Usayd Koshul
4. Week Seven, at Los Angeles Rams
Bears vs. Rams for a third straight year. For the second straight season, the Bears will be flying to the West Coast to take on the Rams. Last season, when both teams played, a rumor broke out during the game that head coach Matt Nagy had benched Mitchell Trubisky when in fact, Nagy pulled Trubisky from the game since he had injured his hip.
While the Rams won last year, in 2018, the Bears defense, led by Khalil Mack would beat the Rams. Now, as these two teams get ready for round three, the Bears clearly look different and will look to Robert Quinn, who played for the Rams to lead the charge to take down Rams quarterback Jared Goff.
For the Rams, things will look different offensively. This offseason saw the team move on from running back Todd Gurley and wide receiver Brandon Cooks, the two men responsible for the success of the Rams offense over the last few years. Meanwhile, the defense will still feature Aaron Donald but will now be led by defensive coordinator Brandon Staley who was with the Bears from 2017 until 2018.
The reality is that nobody knows what the new-look Rams will look like in 2020. They could be explosive and dominant or they be a defensive led team. Regardless, they beat the Bears last year and could end up being in the playoff race and compete against the Bears.
