Chicago Bears 2020 Schedule: Toughest games during regular season

3. Week Five, vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If there’s any team that won the offseason, it’s the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who signed Tom Brady and then traded for Rob Gronkowski, giving the Buccaneers one of the most complete offenses in the NFL.
In what is another game that will feature playoff implications, this game will be about the Bucs offense against the Bears defense. Khalil Mack, Akiem Hicks, Danny Trevathan, and Roquan Smith will be tasked with stopping Brady, Gronkowski, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Cameron Brate, and O.J. Howard.
The point is that the Bucs have a number of weapons that will create all sorts of headaches for the Bears defense. It will be up to defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano to figure out how to limit all the kinds of mismatches that the Bucs will create.
Much like the Saints-Bears game, this is another game that could end up determining a tiebreaker for home-field advantage when the playoffs eventually roll around. Many would automatically think the Bears lose this game but if the offense can match what the defense brings to the table, then Matt Nagy and company can easily go toe-to-toe with the Buccaneers.
