Trade 3

The Packers might need somewhat of a haul to give Aaron Rodgers up to a division rival, despite him aging with his heir waiting in the wings. The Packers would certainly want to make sure that the Bears are somewhat weakening their team if they are going to give a future Hall of Fame quarterback to them. Akiem Hicks, Kyle Fuller, and a 2022 fourth-rounder would certainly be something that might get it done.

You as a fan can decide if it is worth it or not but you can evaluate it in a few different ways. You would combat the loss of Hicks with the fact that they still would have Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn on a very good defensive front. Then with Fuller, they drafted a bunch of defensive backs this year who might be able to fill that spot someday. It is a lot of moving parts, but the Bears need to do something to stop being the model of mediocrity.

This is something that is so far fetched from ever happening just because of the teams involved. They talked about it on local radio because of the draft pick Green Bay made so it is always fun to pick apart what might get a trade of this magnitude done. Rodgers has gone 18-5 against the Bears in his career so not having that against them anymore is also one big positive. You never know what happens to Rodgers after his potential opt-out in two years, but if any team wanted to acquire him it would need to be a huge trade like one mentioned above.
