The disclaimer in all of this is that I have no idea if the team moves out of either (or both of these picks).

Before the first night of the draft, I was on “Team Trade-Out” for at least one of the selections. Now, given what we can see with the current talent pool available, I honestly can’t tell you if it’s a bad idea to stay at both slots because you are pretty much guaranteeing two surefire starters. Moving out of either or both would net the team a sizable gain in draft capital.

If we review what the Bears did in free agency, we can determine that there are two clear positions that they did not target last month that they should absolutely target tonight. The first and obvious one is nabbing a wide receiver. The following are waiting to be drafted:

Since cutting Taylor Gabriel loose, the team has made zero effort to bring in a replacement. Whether it’s Foles or Mitchell Trubisky starting, it’s imperative that Pace brings in a day one playmaker to that offense.
