As the Chicago Bears get ready to make their first pick of the 2020 NFL Draft on Friday night, who are some of the best available players after round one?
Despite not having a first-round pick on Friday night, the Chicago Bears need to come away feeling good considering the rest of the NFL provided plenty of surprises that could benefit the Bears as they get ready to go on the clock with the 43rd overall pick on Friday night.
Round one of the draft saw many surprises. The rest of the NFC North added players like Jeffery Okudah, Jeff Gladney, Justin Jefferson, and Jordan Love. While each of those guys will likely go on to have an impact for their respective franchises, the Bears need to find their own impact players.
The Bears needs remain unchanged. We’ve known for weeks now that the Bears could target safety, wide receiver, offensive line, cornerback, tight end, and potentially quarterback. With the way that the board looks, it seems as if cornerback, safety, and wide receiver with their first picks.
With the 43rd and 50th picks, there will be a plethora of options when the Bears are on the board. However, pay attention to safety and wide receiver as two positons that could potentially be addressed when Ryan Pace pulls the trigger.
