Chicago Bears: 5 bold predictions for 2020 NFL Draft
By Ryan Heckman
4. The Bears trade a player over the weekend
The Bears have a couple of players I could see them wanting to trade over the weekend, and it wouldn’t shock me if it happened. My second bold prediction is that the Bears trade a player over draft weekend.

One of the players we already know Pace is looking to trade is former second-round pick tight end Adam Shaheen out of Ashland. He has failed to make a significant impact (if any at all) since his debut in 2017.
Shaheen’s trade value has to be virtually non-existent, although I could see some team out there ponying up a seventh rounder to give him another shot.
I would also like to see the Bears deal running back Tarik Cohen. I don’t think he has a strong role in this offense anymore, unless Matt Nagy decides to try and re-invent Cohen’s offensive game. He offers some prowess on special teams, but he hasn’t been used well in Chicago recently.
Cohen might fetch a later pick for a team like, say, Tampa Bay. I could see Tom Brady using Cohen like he did James White with the Patriots, and you have to believe the Bucs are thinking Super Bowl or bust at this point.
